What I've learnt from making the swede

  • I have learnt how different social media platforms and other older media platforms work together in cohesion to surround the potential consumers with 360 degree marketing (synergy). For example, instagram would post more intimate, behind the scene style posts, where facebook posts would simply state movie release dates and twitter would inform the audience to visit the facebook page where they can get the latest updates etc.
  • Hence social media is vital in terms of marketing.
  • I have also learnt that time management is very important and to keep up with the time schedule, many people are needed from different areas of expertise and they are needed to be able to work extremely effectively together.
  • Lots of planning and preparation is required, even for short, low budget swedes.

From feedback:
  • Trailers usually take out the best scenes of the film however they don't reveal the solution to the plot, but instead, create questions that would be answered by seeing the film.
